Have you ever visited a site, found it interesting or that it has some tidbit of information you later wanted, but then, when you went back to find it you couldn't? Me too.

When I took to bookmarking the sites I invariably found that I'd bookmarked them on a different computer than the one I was currently in front of. To solve that problem I decided to create my bookmarks here where they would always be availble to me; and to you too.

This site is dedicated to providing helpful content, resource links, conference scripts, and all sorts of tips and tricks related to Microsoft® SQL Server®. For certain content, you must be a subscriber.The SQL Skills team is made up of; Kimberly Tripp, Paul S. Randal, Bob Beaucheim and Stacia Misner. This is a very solid team of talented and dedicated SQL people. They give create presentations too.

TekPub

A new entry into the online video training is Rob Conery's TekPub. Rob is a former Microsoft employee who worked on the MVC framework (HTML helpers). He did a nice series of training videos for an MVC shopping cart that can be viewed at ASP.NET. Now Rob has gone into the business of publishing training videos on a wide range of subjects. TekPub has some content available for free viewing. TekPub has both an ala carte and membership models to pretty much fit every need. The videos I've seen were of high quality and solid content; for many, if not most, the source code used during the video is also available.

Training Spot is a sibling to Learn Visual Studio .NET. Training Spot focus more on back-end tools with a heavy emphasis SQL Server. These videos run from database design through Reporting Services, Analysis Services and Integration Services. There are also two series on Transact SQL; and one on Powershell for DBAs.
